Term 2 Stylish Stationery!

Choose your child’s timeslot:

  • Saturdays 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May, 29th May 12:30-2:30pm
  • Saturdays 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May, 29th May 3-5pm 
  • Sundays 16th May, 23rd May, 30th May, 6th June 12:30-2:30pm

  • Double Zip Pencil Case

  • Various measuring techniques

In Term 2, we will be making some great stylish stationery! We will be making a Folder Cover, Pencil Roll (can double as a make up brush holder), and a Double Zip Pencil Case. This is a 4 week block. Cost for the block is $160. Please book and supply material to Sew with Jo no later than the 13th/14th February if you would like your child to attend this block. Class size is limited to 6 per timeslot. 

Materials required:

Folder Cover
– 40cm x 3 coordinating prints of cotton fabric
These will be used for the outside, lining of the folder and the inside flaps/feature strip on the front of the folder.
Pencil Roll– 30cm x 2 coordinating prints of cotton fabric
– 70 cm matching ribbon ( I used grosgrain 1.5cm wide)
These will be used for the outside/ inside pocket and the lining of the pencil roll.
Double Zip Pencil Case-30cm x cotton fabric for the outside
-50cm x cotton fabric for the inside
– 2 x 40cm dress zip
Also…-Coordinating Gutermann or Mettler thread 250 metre polyester reel if using for all of the above (otherwise 100 metre reel per item if you want to completely colour match) . White thread is supplied here at the studio if students wish to use.

Sew with Jo will provide stabiliser for all items, folder and pencils for pencil roll. If your child would like to use white thread, that is also provided.

Please bring your own water bottle to class, wear closed in shoes and tie any long hair back.

Cost: $160 for the 4 week block.

Current students, please bring in fabric and other requirements to the studio no later than February 13th/14th 2020 if you would like to attend Term 2. After this time, places are released to new students.
